The Journey Behind AI°

From the Physics of Code to the Space of Pantopia

Sitting in Gi at Ru.Mates

My journey with computing began on a Sinclair ZX Spectrum in 1985, dreaming vividly of a life spent studying machines. That dream materialized as a scholarship to study Electrical Engineering in East Germany right before the fall of the Berlin Wall. What followed was a winding, dangerous, and deeply rewarding odyssey through Computer Science at Humboldt University, flight control simulation systems for the DLR, and real-time ECG mapping systems at the Deutsches Herzzentrum Berlin.

Yet, by 2001, the intense intellectual strain and corporate academic environment led to a total systemic crisis—a physical and emotional breakdown. The tools I had used to analyze hardware could no longer fix the operator. To understand my own internal architecture, I stepped entirely off the traditional path and dived into the somatic disciplines of Taiji, Qigong, Aikido, the Talmi-Methode and the deep, silent miles of the Camino de Santiago.

Years later, after a long hiatus from practice, I stepped into an Athens dojo wearing my black belt and a 4th Dan. Standing on the mat, my analytical mind realized a profound truth: my body had completely forgotten every single technique. It was a beautiful, shattering gift. It forced me to abandon my history, step into the total vulnerability of a beginner’s mind (Shoshin), and let a deeper, natural core engine take over.

"The human soul operating system is driven by two simple axes: Self-Awareness linking to Autopoiesis, and Perception flowing into Expression. The only force that can truly kill the hero or destroy their happy-end vision is the hero themselves, stuck in a chronic state of delusion and fear."

Today, having recently received my 5th Dan in Aikido, written my first book, and returned to the quiet, natural rhythm of Salamis Island, I am combining these two worlds. The Anthropo-Intelligence (AI°) project is a deliberate attempt to use our modern, godlike technology to upgrade our medieval institutions and our ancient, cave-dwelling emotional operating systems.

We do not have time for sophisticated presentations or fancy digital tricks. This space is a living, breathing sandbox for the tools, methods, and courses meant to catalyze that human upgrade—step by single step.
